Bio:
Perhaps best known as the face behind the counter at Release the Groove, London's most well known independent Record Stores, where by day he manages the house and garage section of the shop, Neil Pierce is fast becoming one of the most talked about up and coming stars of the UK's soulful house scene.

Drawing his influences from the likes of DJ Spen (Basement Boys), Paul Trouble Anderson, Louie Vega (MAW), Tony Humphries and Kerri Chandler to name a few - a typical Neil Pierce set can take you on a journey from the soulfully uplifting side of gospel garage to the deepest, darkest realms of house music.

Neil's biggest break came when he was plucked from almost obscurity to warm up every Wednesday night for the legendary Paul 'Trouble' Anderson @ the equally legendary Loft @ HQ's in Camden a few years ago. Since then, Neil Pierce has graced the decks at many of the best soulful house nights in the country including Garage City @ Bar Rumba, BBE's weekly Night People, Indulge @ Mass (alongside DJ Spen who played an announced set just for Neil's Birthday), Kudos (Sheffield), Rulin (Ministry of Sound) and Sunday Best (Nottingham)
.
In March 2008 The Fanatix released their Album, ‘There it Is’ on London basedlabel BBE to great critical acclaim and the number one spot on Traxsource.
Singles from the album include Fanatix feat Kele Le Roc – Lesson Learned forOsiris and more recently the massive ‘Love Connection’ with Alex Mills, workingalongside quality musicians such as Kaidi Tatham (Bugz in the Attic), Mike Patto(Reel People) and Marc De Clive Lowe amongst others. The album launch tookplace at the now infamous Fanatix residency, firstly at the Neighbourhood Club, then for BBE’s There It Is at Herbal in London’s Shoreditch

The Fanatix success story has gone from strength to strength in 2009,withproductions such as ‘Fly’ with Alison Crockett & Nathan Haines (straight to no. 1in the Traxsource chart), and a remix of Byron Stingly’s ‘Keep The Love Going’ forNervous Records. The boys have also just remixed a track for Nathan Haines’snew album. On the solo side, Neil is busy in the studio with remixes for NY Soul, and is working on a solo effort due later in the year.

Neil’s profile is set to rise ever higher in 2011, with a string of solo releases as well as brand new fanatix material so watch this space
